What a wonderful way to start the New Year. Fern Cottage has been delightful - thank you so much, James and Chloe! Sitting in front of the fire and playing games with the family has been so lovely. Your house is beautiful. We've also enjoyed the local pubs and being so close to Carsington Water. We would love to return soon.
We really loved our stay at Fern Cottage. A great place to reconnect with family for a few days. The village is a great location with 2 good pubs and lovely walks. The house was perfect, really well appointed and decorated. The pizza oven went down a treat! Thanks to James for his personal touch on handover, the quick overview made our stay that much easier.
The house is perfect - beautifully kept, clean, comfortable, safe for children, we did not want for anything! It's a fabulous location for exploring the Peak District. We went to Chatsworth House, Bakewell, Matlock Farm Park (highly recommended for kids) and we did the wonderful walk from the house up onto the hills. We fell in love with the PeakDistrict and can't wait to come back, and we would definitely rent your house again. Thanks so much!
Everything was perfect, clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is stunning, we spent time at Carsington Water and the Heights of Abraham, which are both well worth a visit. Sunday lunch at the Miners Arms was delicious and the owners were so welcoming. Thank you for letting us use your cottage and facilities which made our stay so great. The extras you provided were very welcome and thoughtful of you.We would definitely come back again and will be recommending to everyone!
